Missing children matter because every child matters!

Help Find My Child (HFMC) was formed to help address the need for practical support and positive action for families searching or trying to raise awareness for a missing child online. This is our official blog for our missing child charity

Our main website can be found at www.helpfindmychild.net.  We also have a presence on most of the social networking sites.  This site you are on now serves as our news and discussion area around the work we and others are doing. Our authers are either volunteers or parents we work with.  We all aim to share news, opinons or information with you, that will hopefully help educate the wider public on missing children and the issues faced by parents, families and friends searching for them.

We make use of the latest technologies, social networking sites, and micro blogging such as twitter, to get word out fast. Help Find My Child is based on our core belief of if we could help one child or one family with a little time we had to try.

Our Mission is searching for missing children online to save lives and reduce the distress to their families.

Hopefully the anguish and pain of having a child abducted or missing is something the majority of us will never experience.  Those that do find themselves in such truamtic situations need our help, support and action.  Together we can and do make a difference to families of missing children,  help us provide a service we hope you will never need to use.

We  are currently assisting with families of teen runaways, child abduction and online grooming cases and are always keen to welcome new volunteers. To be a volunteer with HFMC the most important skills are a little time, a little computer knowledge and a willingness to get involved.
